Various events have been organized at our hospital as part of the “03-09 November Organ Donation Week,” which is celebrated annually in our country.

During the events held from 03-09 November 2023, Dr. Çilem YILDIZ, one of the coordinators from Mersin University Hospital Organ and Tissue Transplantation Center, along with Nurse Zübeyde USANMAZ and in collaboration with the Mersin University Hospital Nursing Services Coordination, provided information to hospital staff and the public about the importance of organ donation and encouraged participation in organ donation.

Additionally, to raise awareness about the significance of organ and tissue donation, stands were set up throughout the hospital, posters were displayed in various locations, and green ribbons symbolizing the occasion were pinned on hospital staff, patients, and their relatives.
