The theme for World Diabetes Day from 2019 to 2023 is "Access to Diabetes Care." This year's campaign aims to delay or prevent type 2 diabetes and its complications with the slogan “Know Your Risk, Know Your Responsibility.”

To support this goal, on 15 November 2023, Diabetes Education Nurse Eylem TÜRK and Internal Medicine-2 Nurse Turgay UYGUN provided fingertip blood glucose testing and information to patients and their relatives at the entrance of our hospital's outpatient clinic. Additionally, an informational brochure titled “About Diabetes” was distributed.
